The satay sauce was a wee bit on the rich and sweet side for me and actually couldn't finish it -- a first for me! I usually never leave food on my plate. Thanks for reminding me what was in it. I had a hankering for it the other day and wanted to recreate it. Glad you like my blog :o)Doodleyboohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10171248819894956903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2509457152211218735.post-47174702927547219782008-02-23T16:19:00.000-08:002008-02-23T16:19:00.000-08:00Stumbled on your blog months ago and it's exciting...Stumbled on your blog months ago and it's exciting to read about your Vancouver adventures now since I'm in town too. Next time you're at Foundation do try the Satay Salad. Our standing order when I go with three friends is four satay salads and one large nachos (not vegans, obviously). The salad has tofu, brocc, extra peanuts, quinoa, and greens under a warm peanut satay dressing. I've recreated it at home to good effect - it's cheap and delish.Liminal Mehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08657226985199315070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2509457152211218735.post-72166326484456190312008-02-23T16:14:00.000-08:002008-02-23T16:14:00.000-08:00Heck, I'd make it again just to see the green it w...Heck, I'd make it again just to see the green it was so vivid. I think at least twice the amount of peanuts than a pesto usually calls for with pine nuts and the onions (which I don't think came with the dish we had at the restaurant) would definitely give this dish even more of a yah-yah feeling.Doodleyboohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10171248819894956903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2509457152211218735.post-72664831119629696672008-02-23T11:42:00.000-08:002008-02-23T11:42:00.000-08:00aw yum, 'creamy mess of broccoli and pasta' pretty...aw yum, 'creamy mess of broccoli and pasta' pretty much defines my idea of YUM IT'S DINNERTIME!

your bowl... so green!
